It’s here (whether you’re ready or not) … the end of the school year. Getting through this month feels like December 2.0. But we’re in the home stretch to summer, baby!
There’s so much happening in May from the Bentonville Film Festival (we’re helping host our annual brunch on May 9 at the Ballroom at I Street) and Mother’s Day to the Go Red for Women luncheon and graduation … and we can’t forget the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships happening May 16-29 – a big deal to have it hosted in Northwest Arkansas.
Plus there’s all the end of school activities ramping up to Memorial Day and the Big Business Brunch, hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas at 21c. Last but not least, our two youngest kids celebrate birthdays in the month of May. (Is it appropriate to postpone a party for sanity’s sake? Asking for a friend.)
May is a marathon … and no matter what you have going on, let’s make it our goal to be mindful this month and not wish the time away. For starters, we cut down office hours when school’s out just to have a little more quality time with our families. On that note, we’re taking ideas for fun summer activities to do with kids.
